I m 42 and I d never been on a guided travel tour. It s worth mentioning this because I am slightly phobic of groups and ordered schedules. I don t like having to do things at the same time as everyone else, and I ve always viewed travel tours as a kind of hell you can t get out of jammed into a bus or a boat with strangers, no say in your own destiny, having to hop on and off and dutifully record your presence at landmarks. I would like to state for the record that I have been very wrong, and provide as evidence, a thoroughly delightful one-day tour of the Fiordland National Park.
Counting of votes for the municipal polls are to be held on May 3. Because of the spike in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Telangana State Election Commission(TSEC) has banned victory processions/ rallies by candidates and parties. SHC directs KMC, others to take steps to foil bid to encroach on Lyari park

The Sindh High Court has directed the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and others to take appropriate effective steps to protect Ismail Shaheed Park in Lyari against any encroachment or illegal construction.
The direction came on a petition of Zohra Begum against an encroachment at the public park situated in Shah Baig Lane, Block 1, Lyari.
The petitioner’s counsel, Ziaul Haq Makhdoom, submitted in the petition that residents of the area had made the park functional a couple of years ago, but certain unscrupulous persons demolished the road-facing wall of the park, and tried to encroach upon the park. The counsel submitted the authorities had been approached with regard to the illegal construction and encroachment on the land of the park, but to no avail.

A children s play park named in memory of a young local boy in the Shantallow area of Derry has been targeted by vandals for a second time.
Police are appealing for information about the latest incident at Jake s Play Park on Racecourse Road.
The play park was named after 11-year-old Jake Murphy who died suddenly while playing close to a building site near his home in July 2013.
